Role

Led UX transformation for a Fortune 500 weather media’s ad products. Through collaboration with stakeholders and clients, designed custom ad experiences for over 200 domestic and international brands. Key innovations include the creation of branded experiences being seamlessly woven into the user interface of the mobile app, tv programming, and web experiences. In result, created a host of multi-million dollar ad product offerings. Additionally, on-boarded and mentored supporting designers and was sought out by clients to work directly with them.

Native Advertising

Jeep’s overall campaign goals were to target a slightly younger buyer, drive awareness of their all-new Cherokee and it's performance in all-weather conditions in a unique way. Our strategy included positioning Jeep’s creative with mostly high impact mobile takeovers, tablet media, and the launch of the new Weather Channel iPhone app featuring Native Branded Backgrounds (pictured below), Native Elements, and new scrolling content that would reach a younger demographic.

The Branded Background and Native Element ad units organically wove the advertiser’s message into the fabric of the app design. Showing the Jeep taking on the weather conditions experienced by the user at that moment and seamlessly merging content and brand messaging into a single experience. My contribution to this campaign involved developing concepts and designing all the weather conditions for the Branded Backgrounds with minimal assets, short deadlines, and complying with our product and UI specifications.
