Work Experience

Freelancer, ni.Be: Founder of a freelance design identity working for a variety of clients providing art directon and world-class design.
Senior UX / UI Designer, Orion Innovation: As the senior lead designer for a global travel media client, I played a pivotal role working with key clients, internal executives, engineering and other XD team members on all design efforts for a full redesign of four responsive sites. We focused on providing users with their desired content quickly as well as entertained with visual delight to keep interest. I led and summarized stakeholder interviews (executives, employees, and key users), analytics review, and a 35-slide comparative analysis. Collaborated with our director and lead fellow designers to create user journeys, facilitate design sprints, produce wireframes, as well as a user interface design library, and prototypes.

I was also trusted by a major financial company who was going through a merger with auditing key features from both companies and recommending certain scenarios for testing as well as provide solutions for unification.
Senior UX Generalist, State Farm: As a Lead UX Generalist for an internal horizontal innovation team, I'm tasked with a variety of situations including quick turnaround recommendations for vertical teams who are in the thick of a project and need assistance. Collaborating with product owners who would like to do a limited test launch on an idea and need assistance putting the pieces together for a great user experience. Brainstorming and presenting what our user's journey might look like in the future with life changes and technology advancements.

Some of the processes include brainstorming with teammates on Mural, analyzing data, research, meeting with vertical teams and gather their insights, create wires as well as low and high fidelity / dev-ready prototypes, and presentations with Sketch, Invision, Freehand, Illustrator, and Keynote.

All tasks are tackled with this question in the foreground: "how can the experience evolve in a positive, accessible, and ethical way for our users?".
Senior Product Designer/Lead, AT&T: As a lead product designer, I have been tasked with evaluating the information architecture and user interface elements from audit to completion on the MyAT&T app. My specific areas of responsibility include the lead for information architecture on Shop and Support and support for Billing and Account while creating global user interface graphics for the entire app. Information architecture processes include establishing problem statements, ideation, prototyping, user testing, making valuable modifications with collected data, while collaborating with product owners, designers, copywriters, developers, and other stakeholders stateside and internationally. Processes for user interface design include establishing why statements, goals, audits, analysis, research, design (graphic details + animation), proposals, and library component creation.
Senior Designer, Turner Sports: As a strong designer and creative manager, I was tasked with a wide range of strategy, digital, and print design projects that cover all sports under the Turner Sports umbrella: NBA, MLB, PGA, NCAA, ELEAGUE, UEFA, BR, BR Live and I collaborated with their various teams: product, social, editorial, executive, and marketing. Project examples are: conceptualizing and managing a digital ad campaign that lives on and offsite (ex. Roku, Playstation, etc), mock up simple ways to include e-commerce into the existing NBA digital (web & app) fabric, design a game controller for ELEAGUE from scratch to use on TV and sell in the store, design and assemble a talent proposal for UEFA, work with the strategy team to come up with ways to know the fans better and discover micro-moments. Turner kept me busy.
Senior Visual & UX Designer, Allconnect: As the lead designer, I collaborated with product owners, data analysts, UX architects, copywriters, developers, QA, and contractors to improve the consumer experience on all digital platforms. Worked in a strong agile environment with a focus on sprint planning and defined innovative design iterations with the product owner and UX team. As a result, we created a series of responsive authorized retailer sites that saw a 60% increase in revenue and overall gave the consumer a better experience. While working on the authorized retailer sites, I developed and led brainstorming and idea discovery sessions among the discovery team which consists of UX architects, designers, developers, copywriters, and SEO specialists for the Allconnect consumer site. As a result, we created user flows, graphics, and copy resonating with the consumer in a positive and exciting way based on user testing.

Along with UX tasks, I collaborated with the email, software, and merchandising teams to create a new way of presenting products and communications digitally. As a result, emails were experiencing a 300% decrease in unsubscribes and merchandising gained more flexibility to tailor digital placements for partners including pricing.
Art Director & Senior Designer, The Weather Channel: Designed, directed, and managed custom digital cross-platform (mobile app, mobile web, tablet app, tablet web, web) and TV advertisements in a high intensity environment for clients of The Weather Channel. My daily tasks involved collaborating with an award-winning internal creative agency and executing successful custom ad and user experiences from concept to completion for over 200 domestic and international brands of all types including Nike, Toyota, Disney, Jeep, and Universal, in result, driving over $100M in sales revenue. I designed concepts and executed identity, advertising, apparel, promotional, presentation, packaging, and web design for the fast-growing private financial company. Design work spanned the entirety of the corporate hierarchy, including subsidiaries specializing in insurance, brokering, and banking. In addition to specific design tasks, routine work involved leading the development of marketing campaigns, including managing an array of external professional media, creative, and printing vendors, as well as internal cross-department collaboration.
Creative Intern, Vanity Fair Brands: Designed identity, print, packaging, and presentation material for a large apparel and lingerie company and it's brands Vanity Fair, Lily of France, and Nautica.
